Policies

Participant Cancellation & Refund Policy:
Cancellation of participation in workshops & events is possible up to 60 days prior to the first day of the course. Up to and until this date, all money paid, less the non-refundable deposit paid, will be refunded to the applicant by MVS.

Applicants who, for any reason (including illness, death in the family, accidents, professional obligations, etc.) find themselves unable to participate in the course and have not cancelled 90 days prior to the start of the event, are ineligible for a refund. All fees are due in full 60 days prior to start date of the program. Contact your travel insurance company for any coverage for air travel fees, and any deposit recovery for this program.

If you wish to cancel your reservation on a retreat or event you must notify MovingVentures in writing. Once we’ve received your notice, cancellation will take effect subject to the following:

• If cancellation takes place more than 90 days prior to your departure date any payments made will be refunded minus your deposit.

• If cancellation takes place less than 90 days prior to your departure date, 100% of the retreat price will be forfeited and/or you will be required to make final payment for the event.

Note that some events do not accept cancellations. This will be clearly posted on the workshop information page. Travel insurance is required to cover unexpected events and the need to cancel a trip. Note that your Travel Insurance may protect you against event cancellation.

MovingVentures agrees that in such cases, the applicant may find a suitable replacement to take his/her place in this training, providing an application is filled out, and an enrollment agreement is signed by the replacement.

Moving Ventures Event and/or Participant Cancellation Policy:
MovingVentures retains the sole right to revoke the participation in this training of any individual participant, at its discretion. MovingVentures also retains the right to cancel an event up to 30 days prior to the first day of the course, should for any reason this become a necessity or if a workshop does not meet the minimum number of participants. In such a case, all moneys received by MovingVentures from applicants shall be promptly refunded - including deposits.

MovingVentures and any persons associated with MovingVentures or employed by MovingVentures shall not be liable for any expenses incurred by applicants in preparing for this training, including travel expenses, telephone and mail expenses.

Insurance
MovingVentures requires the purchase of travel insurance. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are adequately insured for the full duration of the retreat or event in respect of illness, injury, death,loss of baggage and personal items and cancellation and curtailment

By participating in our programs you are aware that participation in our trainings can involve various risks. Physical movement (dancing, yoga, walking, running in or outside of the facility where this training takes place), meditation, and massage can result in serious physical injury and/or loss of emotional and mental orientation/stability. By registering in our programs you take full responsibility for your participation in this training, and will not hold MovingVentures, or any person associated with MovingVentures liable for anything that may occur as a result of participation in this training.
